Something important to note is that there is a serial number on the guitar - on a sticker inside the top F-hole. Has this changed recently? I have looked at many eBay posts of Dots (had this GAS for a while, Beano did nothing), and if the headstock rear is shown, I have always seen either: ![]() Now, #3 again has no serial number on the back of the headstock. I got Epi #3 today - it is definitely the best example so far (they promised me a quality check before shipping, and said there was a new shipment from Epiphone). The second one also went back due to binding flaws, plus it had something else in common with the first - no serial number on the back of the headstock. I decided the first one was a B-stock/2nd because the fretboard was as dry as the outback, and had weird grain to boot, and there were some visible flaws with the binding. ![]() ![]() I recently decided to pass my GAS and get myself an Epiphone Dot using the Music 123 GEARUP/F_KUP.
